ChemGeneics Research Foundation conducts state-of-the-art research aimed at understanding how environmental toxicants affect the health of humans, animals and plants. This mission is accomplished through the pursuit of the following general objectives:
» Chemical Carcinogenesis
» Mechanisms of chemical carcinogenesis and genetic toxicity
» Gene-environment interactions in carcinogenesis
» Genetic Toxicology and Ecotoxicology
We collect samples of soil, water, plants and other sources for toxicity analysis and analysis of genetic changes due to toxicity.
Chemgeneics has been involved in eco friendly solutions , community awareness programs, seminars, national and international public debate on pollution-related issues...
Toxicity and Genetics Genotoxicity describes the property of chemical agents that damages the genetic information within a cell causing mutations and dna methylation, which may lead to cancer. It is very pathetic that population in rural or urban areas are not aware of the genetic changes due to intake of toxic substances, Several of families are suffering from cancer and other genetic diseases.
Genotoxicity describes the property of chemical agents that damages the genetic information within a cell causing mutations & dna methylation, which may lead to cancer or critical diseases.
Our initiatives include research, campaigns, policy interventions, building capacity, environmental survey, waste management, industrial waste management, water waste management, river waste and its impact on human, animal and soii.
